This is a nice area that is starting to see improvements on clean up. The above coordinates takes you to a benchmark plaque. Enjoy reading the plaque. This is an offset cache, don't ye know, matey!!
The only troubled water at this bridge is if you don't lower your mast or drop you Bimini top ya swabs!! Once you get to the benchmark and read it, you may want to get your last supper or drink before "ye walk the "plank", ya scurvy dog"!! IMPORTANT INFO HERE, YA GOTTA READ IT MATEY! Now stand on the Plank, also called the "sidewalk" for you land lubbers directly acrossed from the benchmark ya jest finished reading! Take the "deathwalk" at about 210 degrees up the "plank" for about 28 steps or 60 feet, "ya smelly no good seadog!" At this point turn to a heading of about 290 degrees. You should be facing the water. "Now jump off the plank, ye filthy no good son of sea eurchin scalawag!!" (NO DON'T DO THIS...NO JUMPING REQUIRED OR ALLOWED!!!!!. It's just the mean pirate in me jawin' at ye). However, do begin your search for the black key holder with an attractive persona. NOT NOW YE SWABS, THE KEY HOLDER BE MISSIN' IT'S NOW A 1 INCH CUBE thingy AND CAMO. Har, I can't believe this one turned up AWOL. Oh, well. This area can be high traffic, so stealth is important!! If you didn't eat/drink your last meal before walking the "plank", then feel free to do so after you complete your mission at the close at hand "Waterin' Hole for Pirates" Enjoy!!
