Staghorn's Patriotic Woodpecker Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Staghorn: I have not been able to get down to Mendon to take care of this, so I will be archiving it to make room for other caches. If you get to it before me, more better for me!

Geocache Description:

Cache is a 35mm Film can (ORIGINALLY magnetic key case) very close to the trail. Wheelchair would have difficulty getting here but it is a fairly easy hike on some beautiful trails.

The first Staghorn Cache, a 35mm film can in Mendon Ponds Park. Four GPS's gave very different readings and the posted coordinates are the average of the 4. Please send me your coords if you get better ones.

The name of the cache comes from the fact that while I placed the cache in a place that a woodpecker seemed to frequent, we were being serenaded by someone playing patriotic songs on a trumpet somewhere nearby.

May be muggles in the area. Cache is small.. Bring your own pen. And for the sake of whatever god or gods you hold holy....BRING BUG SPRAY!!!!!

EDIT: Congrats to thia137 for FTF!
