Nice walk along Swansea Dam on fairly level trails. Some rocks and roots.
The cache is located behind Case Jr. High in Swansea. Trails can also be accessed via Town Hall parking lot on Main St., but Jr. High entrance is more direct route. (Using the Jr. High entrance, you should pass the Lt. Robert Cabral Memorial Soccer field.)
Please note that you can't park behind the school during school hours. You can park in the small dirt lot west of the dam (see Swansea Dam cache GC15QF7) but you still would have to walk through school property to get to a trail. If you park behind Town Hall, ignore your GPS (unless you want to go the LONG way with extra bushwacking) and bear left at the first intersection. Follow this trail until it hits another trail (the water should be directly in front of you) and then take a right on that trail. You will quickly see the trail to the soccer field on the left.
Some bushwhacking required. Trails are fairly level but do have areas of exposed roots and rocks. There is a letterbox hidden nearby called Swan Hike so we decided to call this one Swan Hike 2.
