Geocache Description:

Trail is similar to wide animal trail; though humans frequently use it. Some parts muddy, others wet. Wear good, supportive shoes; trail is covered in roots and plants. If you attempt this in the winter, be aware that there is a creek near the trail. Don't fall in! Watch out for wildlife; deer, raccoons, owls, squirrels, coon cats, and golden retrievers! Trail passes between two houses to start with, but don't worry--it's a neighborhood trail and well-used.

Directions to cache: Off of Eastern Ave., there is a road called Eaton Ridge Drive. Turn down this road. When you come to a fork in it (straight ahead there is a grassy 'island' with two giant pine trees on it, to the left is a brown house set back from the road) bear left. Continue until you see an orange ribbon tied to a tree on the left side of the road. This is the entrance to the trail. It is between mailbox numbers 175 and 166. The entrance to the trail is .3 (3 tenths) miles from the start of Eaton Ridge Drive. Contents of cache: This cache is FILLED with cats! Feel free to take one home with you, and replace it with another cat/plastic animal. The cache is approximately 8x8 inches, so make sure your animal will fit in the container. What to do: Once you find the entrance of the trail, you will be looking for a clear, plastic Tupperware with a red lid. This cache isn't too hard to find and is mainly meant to bring the trails it is located on to the attention of the Geocaching world. The trail that it is found near leads to some old, disused railroad tracks and is one of many. If you have time, you may want to continue walking down the trail. Off of the tracks are many other trails that are nice to walk on. There is also a creek and a marsh along the tracks that provide good places for 'frog-catching' or even swimming.
