This is one in a series of caches that have been placed at a site of historical interest in the City of York. As with all city caches, extreme stealth is required. At certain times this area will have lots of muggles. If you are here and cannot safely retreive the cache, please leave and return at a later time. Also, these caches are NOT recommended after dark. Only look for these caches during day light hours.
Prospect Hill Cemetary is the resting place of Philip Livingston. He signed the Declaration of Independence. He was from New York and died here in York when Congress was held here.
If you enter the cemetary from George Street you will see the display of flags honoring fallen heroes from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
This cache is located near a mausoleum that was erected in 2006 for a famous concessionaire family from the York area. While in the area look for the mosaic design on the ground at the enterance of the mousoleum. The cache is NOT located on the mousoleum or the landscaping surrounding it. Please place the cache back exactly as you found it.
