Parcent, se halla entre una cadena montañosa, situada en el centro de una olla. El paisaje, entre 200m. del nivel del mar hasta los casi 1000 metros del Coll de Rates, donde alcanza su término municipal, nos ofrece unas vistas a 180º del mar, el Montgo, el peñon de Ifach, Benidorm, el Puigcampana, la sierra de Aitana, etc…
Para acceder a esta bonita localidad:
Desde Alicante, por la N-332 encontraremos un desvio justo antes de llegar a Benissa y a unos 11 kilómetros, por la carretera AV-1421 llegaremos a Parcent, pasando por Jalón y Alcalalí.
Desde Valencia por la N-332 accederemos a Parcent desviándonos por Pedreguer, cogiendo la carretera AV-1421 hasta llegar a dicha población pasando por la Llosa de Camacho y Alcalalí.
Para acceder a nuestro cache tenemos dos posibilidades:
-Para los valientes:
El cache se encuentra en la parte mas alta del Carrascal de Parcent, no podía ser de otra manera. Junto a él pasa el PRV-158, sendero bonito de hacer de aproximadamente 15 Km y unos 800 metros de desnivel. En su recorrido podemos ver las poblaciones de Parcent, Alcalalí, etc. Pasamos también por un mirador con una maqueta cartográfica que nos muestra todo lo que estamos viendo. En la parte mas alta obtendremos unas magníficas vistas, recomiendo no perdérselas ( sierra de Aitana, Benidorm, el Puigcampana etc ). Y de bajada veremos la cueva de la Coloma y la fuente de la Foia, donde podemos refrescarnos. Ahh, muy importante a mitad de camino de subida, nos encontramos con un restaurante donde poder reponer fuerzas o tomar algo.
-Para los motorizados:
Se puede acceder con cualquier tipo de vehículo hasta la caseta del vigilante. Para llegar a ella desde Parcent, tenemos que seguir la carretera que sube al Coll de Rates y desviarnos a la derecha en la parte más alta, llegando al restaurante Pedramala. Desde el restaurante seguir el camino que está en buen estado, hasta la caseta del vigilante, donde podréis aparcar vuestro vehículo. A partir de aquí tendremos que ir por el sendero, perfectamente señalizado hasta llegar al cache. Nuestro cache es una ammo box y nace repleto de buenos ítems. Esperamos que os guste y que intercambieis por otros ítems similares para que siga siendo interesante.

Parcent is a village situated in the heart of a valley in a mountain range. The scenary, between 200 metres above sea level to almost 1000 metres of "Rates" mountain pass offers a view at 180º of the sea, Mongó, Ifach Rock, Benidorm, etc.
In order to get to this beautifull village:
From Alicante through N332, just before arriving to Benissa, at about 11 km, take the road AV-1421 and you can get there trough Jalon and Alcalí.
From Valencia, through the road N332, go first to Pedreguer by the road AV 1421 until getting to this village through Llosa de Camacho and Alcali
There are two ways of getting to the cache:
For the courageous ones:
This cache is situated in the highest part of Parcent evergreen oaktree wood, next to PRV-158, beautiful path which is 15 km long and rises about 800 m above sea level. meanwhile you walk, you can see the villages of Parcent,Alcali, etc. You will pass by a watchtower with a scaled map which shows all you are seeing. In the highest part, there is a wonderfull view of Aitana Mountain Range, Benidorm, Puigcampana, etc.
While descending, you will find Coloma cave and a spring called Foia where you can drink some fresh water. There is also a resaurant halfway when you climb and you can have a snack.
If you have a vehicule:
You can arrive up to the guardian shelter by any kind of vehicule. From Parcent, you must take the road to Rates Mountain Pass and switch to the right in the highest part near Pedramala restaurant. From there, follow the road to the guardian shelter where you can park. Now, walk on the path, which is perfectly signalized until guetting to the cache.
There you will find an ammo box full of good items. I hope you will like it and you may exange them by something similar so that the cache remains interesting.
