Billy’s Views #2
This is the second in the series of valley views around Sonoma
and its vassal towns and villages.
On a clear day, the view here though narrow is particularly
good.
Locally, the view seen is lower Sonoma Valley, Skaggs Island,
Sonoma Mountain, Sears Point and San Pablo Bay. In the distance if
you’re lucky maybe seen a small section of shadowy sky scrapers in
downtown San Francisco.
The cache site is nothing special but that’s not the point.
The cache can be obtained without the need to move anything, I’ve
set it up this way so it cannot be seen by the casual visitor
stopping on the hill.
Please do not move anything. Just look carefully and you’ll
see how to make the grab.
If you do move anything please replace it carefully and
please tell me so I can fix it.
Co-ords from 7 satellites at 17ft therefore the reading should
be good
You can park right next to the cache in an uphill direction (if
you try coming down the hill you’ll have troubles), just be sure to
pull off the road entirely, I can safely park my F250 here, so you
should have no trouble parking. Room for one car. If you’re on your
bike by prepared for an uphill ride.
Its camo’d but this shouldn’t make a difference, and it’s
between a micro and a small in size. And can take small trade
items.
Nice California pin for the FTF, and has various trinkets to
start.
