This is an easily accesible micro-cache located in the Logan Cemetary.
The Logan Cemetary was founded in 1865, the same year our
16th President, Lincoln, was inaugerated. The Homesteaders
act of 1862 led many to search for a better life on the
open ranges of Nebraska. Many met there fate here, under
the harsh and brutal environment. There are a few Civil War Vets buried here also.
On May 30th 1988 the Veterans Of Foreign War, Post 10535,
dedicated in honor of all Undited States Veterans, The
Flagpole that stands here today.
Each Memorial day, the VFW honors the deceased here,in a
ceremony that brings back the dead, in a living portrail
of a few of the "Residents" lives.
