This cache is on the Atherton Tablelands not far from the town of Malanda.
The cache is in a very pleasant park. While there, if you approach the stream quietly, you have a fair chance of seeing a platypus. It is a good place to have a picnic, and there are wide areas of lawn for kids to romp on. It used to be a good place to swim, but sadly that aspect has been neglected, and it would now be dangerous to swim amongst the submerged tree branches.
The cache, when hidden, contained the usual log book and pencils, a tea caddy spoon, an opal broach, a JDRF key ring, plastic animal toys, and tuppence halfpenny.
Best of luck.
