The road to access this cache is open from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. from late in May to early September, and from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. during the fall and winter months; also, the gates may be closed on weekends during the fall and winter months. Please plan accordingly.
This is a log only cache; please enter only your name and date.
This "gas saver" cache is an easy, quick walk from the parking co-ords for the Ball Mountain Lake Overlook cache. If desired, you can drive to within a short distance.
This cache is handicap accessible. It's not necessary to go over the bank to retrieve the cache.
After doing this cache, you might want to take a couple of minutes and walk out on the ramp leading to the "control tower" of the dam. It offers an interesting view of the lake and the dam area.
