Geocache Description:


This cache takes you to an area off of Losaw Road in the Winsted/Colebrook area. We used to call it the "tractor grave yard" when we were in high school, because there's a lot of old farm and town equipment that looks as though they were placed here to rot. There's penty of urban ruin in this area.

Losaw Road goes from paved to dirt, so don't be alarmed. Parking can be found at N 41.57.581 / W 073.04.649, and a short hike through the grave yard takes to you down a trail farther into the woods.

Don't let the terrain rating fool you. It's pretty flat until the end, where you'll need to break off the trail when you're close to the cache. You're looking for a medium sized camo'ed lock'n'lock container.

There is HUNTING allowed in this area, so wearing bright colors might be a good idea.
