Hokey Pokey Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SquirtGunn: What a fun cache this has been - my son's Adirondack hiking boot, when he was little, with a LNL inside.

But the Goose Creek floods terribly during flooding conditions and the boot does tend to float away. It had been found numerous time after floods, down stream, but this week's flood proved too much. Bye-bye boot.

Geocache Description:

Goose Creek Park, E Street Road, West Chester
This park offers a 1/2 mile loop walk, open dawn-dusk.

You put your right foot in
You put your right foot out
You put your right foot in and ya shake it all about.
You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about.

And now some sad news:
Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote the song "The Hokey Pokey" died at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his right leg in...
and then the trouble started.

Extra credit: pictures of feet.

Cache dedicated to: 9 yr old Selena of Frogtown5.
