This cache is located in a peaceful cemetary that is slowly udergoing renovations. The founder of the town of Pearisburg rests here. George Pearis was a Revolutionary War captain who donated the land that became Giles Courthouse.
The cemetary contains many interesting gravesites, including several Civil War veterans. There are nice stone benches that will let you relax and enjoy the quiet hillside.
The cache itself is a gallon plastic bottle. The cache is not located near any gravesite, but can be found on the edge of the clearing.
