Pirate Treasure Theme Located on the Great Miami River

 DAVY JONES LOCKER

 

Why would a man who can only walk on the land once every ten years hide the most important thing in his life under soil? To not only keep it far away from treacherous muggles, but also to keep it away from his own haunted eyes. To still the heart would be Davy Jones's final death. To restore it would bring back the pain of his life and of his long lost love. Best to keep this cache hidden from light, sight, and touch.

 

Description

Good Luck to those that try for this one. FTF has some extra special goodies and a bit of cash! This is our first attempt at a hide and we intended this to be very difficult. This cache is not for the faint of heart! Cache is located on a large island in the middle of the great miami river. This is only accessible by canoe, kayak, etc. This is a two stage cache with the final "treasure" being  a super large ammo container. Bringing a compass along will help greatly on this.

 

You can start your journey in Rentschler Woods Park ( $2.00/day or $5.00/year park entry fee). Or anywhere downstream as far as the old dam in Hamilton.

WARNING If starting from the park  you may have to travel dangerously close to a large dam.
