This cache is situated near Ploughman Wood, a beautiful nature reserve see (http://www.wildlifetrust.org.uk/nottinghamshire/reserves/Ploughman%20Wood.htm) It is recommended that you park on the bend at Green Lane ( N53 00.643, W01 03.736) where the car will be off-road. The cache is just over half a mile away.
The cache is a 0.5 ltr container, with an Argos £5 voucher for first to find, as well as, the normal goodies.The bridleway from where you park the car passes by an operational airstrip to your right.
This is our second cache, the first being Double Act Dress Rehearsal (see GC11RX2) and can form part of a nice 5 to 6 mile walk, incorporating Dando's Dumble (GC10M0D), The Other Dumble (GC11VFC) and the In Search of Robin Hood caches by John and Carol. We hope you will enjoy the walk and it's well worth the visit to Ploughman Wood (and of course a swift drink at The Woodlark in Lambley - our favourite!)
