Easy to find cache, located at the Waikawa Reserve, Manakau. Approximately a 10 minute loop walk.
Reserve can be found by turning down North Manakau Road which is just north of the Manakau Dairy on SH1. Near the end of this road on the right hand side you will see a steep drop off gravel road which is sign posted.
Follow the gravel road until you nearly reach the blocked off Waikawa river bridge. Close by to the left you will see a narrow dirt track with small bridge and a marked post. Continue along this track until you pass through a dense tree plantation and come to a small clearing over looking the reserve.
You will be looking for a 1.25 litre cylindrical white plastic container. Once found, continue along the path to complete the loop.
