Strömbacka Stångjärnshammare byggdes i mitten på 1800 talet. Järnet tillverkades vid Movikens masugn och fraktades till Strömbacka på järnväg där det bearbetades. Malmen kom från middagsberget och renades i Hedvigsfors.
Strömbacka ironworks was built in the middle of the 18th century and worked iron ore, extracted fromthe nearby Middagsberget, which was purified at Hedvigsfors
