There's an old well at the top of this island. Over time it has
developed a protective layer of wire, branches, and sticks to keep
people from accidentally falling in. Please use common sense and
keep a very close eye on the curious young ones.

When the lake level drops to about 1061.5, this is no longer an
island. A little sandbar connecting it to War Hill Park becomes
exposed. When arriving by water, I'd park in the little cove south
of the cache. The terrain is much more friendly on that side of the
island.

Please don't take a travel bug (TB) or trackable geocoin from this cache unless you intend to
log it properly and move it to a new cache. Since trackables are
not trade items, "Took a bag of marbles, left a TB" is not good. If
you take a trade item from this cache, please replace it with
something of equal or greater value. Then decide if you want to
grab or drop off a TB or trackable geocoin.
