We liked this park and decided to place a cache here. It is a 7.2 acre park with nature trails, picnic areas, play equipment, spray pool for summer fun, basketball court, large grass meadow, restrooms, and parking lot. This is our first cache placement and we had fun doing it in such a beautiful place. WallieDawg, Geonutdan, and Meesha Geopuppy got us into geocaching a few months ago and helped out a little with our first placement too.
The satellite coverage is good until you get to the path. There is spotty coverage under the trees. However, it is only a short walk down the path and locating the cache should be pretty easy. The cache is hidden in an ammo can. We started this cache off with some toys, a Travel Bug, and a Geocoin. Have fun and enjoy this wonderful place!
