Geocache Description:

Been to the West side of Alhambra? Come on over to the East side. Visit the Bean Tract.

This is where Alhambra meets San Marino. It is Alhambra’s priciest neighborhood, long referred to as the “Bean Tract”, named after a prominent Alhambra resident, Jacob Bean. Bean was a Minnesota lumber baron who retired to Alhambra in 1901. Of course he was so taken with the area, that he bought 104 acres and guess what he grew? Citrus of course! What’d you think he’d grow, beans?

***CONGRATULATIONS SKIDBONE ON THE FTF! and having a 9 FTF morning! AREN'T YOU HAPPY TO HAVE INSOMNIA?***
