This cache is placed as a marker to get you started up the road to Mission Creek and the 1920's Resort and other caches.
As it stands on 8-7-07 there are 20 caches on this road in this series that can be easily collected on a half days caching adventure. The caches past the "Lock Overkill" cache require mild hiking, it is an easy walk up a good dirt road. Currently the furthest cache is located on an Aeromotor (Windmill) that is located 1.46 miles from the Locked gate at the Nature conservatory boundry. Bring a Picnic, bring your dogs (take leashes) and enjoy yourself. There are many good things to see and find. Going up on the left side not far from the road is a river that runs year round. The River is a good place for your dogs to splash and for you to cool off.
