Geocache Description:

Been to the West side of Alhambra? Come on over to the East side now and downtown!

When Motlah was a little girl, this restaurant was built in the style of Denny’s, but it was never a Denny’s. She picked the brains of a few “old timers” this last week and could not come up with the name of that new restaurant built here back in the 60’s.

UPDATE!!!! FINALLY! Leave it to Alhambran Maxine Murphy, she knew all the names starting with "Prebles"...Thanks Maxine! We know it was a The Carousel and then Sandi’s for many years… In the past few years it was remodeled again into what it is now. Kind of an old 50’s – 60’s style diner…good food too!

They also sponsor a monthly car show on the 3rd Wed. of the month. Come see some oldies, fast cars, newer cars. Jackcheese ususally has his Chevelle over there.

It sits at the gateway to Alhambra’s Summer Jubilee that usually runs from the first Saturday in July for 5-7 Saturdays evenings. Heck, we had the Beach Boys here last summer!
You all missed Pat Benatar 3 weeks ago, and boy o boy, John Kay and Steppenwolf are just as hot as we remembered them from 1967.

Stealth required, lots of windows, but if you stand still they shouldn't see you.
