Arctic Valley Pass is a popular hiking destination in the Alpenglow Ski area with spectacular views. The cache is a small container with a log book and pencil, not really large enough for trade items.
From the Alpenglow parking lot, walk up the valley to the northeast, staying on the right-hand side of the stream. A footpath leads to the pass.
Arctic Valley Road is maintained by the military and the gate is closed from 2200 to 0500 hours. There is a $5 parking fee at the Alpenglow parking lot.
