Twin Views (Lion's Lookout Walk) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

WanderingAus: I can't maintain this "within a reasonable period" because I won't be back until the end of October.

My thanks to the cachers who ripped the bags and broke the lid, if I knew who you were I'd return the favour with interest.

If someone gives me a good reason, and the real estate is still vacant, I might replace this cache before the end of the year and get it un-archived, but that's unlikely.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located approximately half-way along the Lion's Lookout Walk. A nice area which provides views in two directions. After you have found the cache please do take a moment to re-hide the cache carefully. You will understand why when you find it.

Andrew (Aushiker) has placed a great cache which has been enjoyed by a couple of dozen cachers for over 18 months. I was happy to adopt the cache rather than see it archived. Thanks for a great cache Andrew.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find. Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in your log and do log them online.

The cache is a two litre blue lidded plastic container located a few metres off the Lion's Lookout Walk.  It contains the usual array of items - logbook, pencil, pencil sharpener and assorted new swaps.

You are strongly encouraged to take the long road for this one (rather than the short road) and to "Take 30" and complete the Lion's Lookout Walk.  The walk is graded three and is an easy 4 km.

If you wish to make any comments please post a log or email me. Please log your find in the cache and on Geocaching.com. Please no hints or multiple logs, but please do leave a photo or two. Phone a friend is allowed, but hopefully not required.
