Geocache Description:

This replaced first Cache for Dazza 1 is in a little known area close to a major mining site from Ballarat's past, although there is little left to see now, this spot must have been very different a 100 years ago when 12,000 miners made it their home. Take the time to explore the rock and the walking track and the link to one of Ballarat's famous tourist attractions.

The starting point is at a sign that is part of a series of historical infomation signs that are located around Ballarat.
From this sign you will gain the infomation to lead you to the nearby cache at the following location.
