Geocache Description:

A simple hide just off a paved bike path. Located in exactly the same spot as the old archived Castaldo Cache (GCGY0M).

Stu's mother was a stray who built a den along a railroad track. She birthed a litter of 6 pups in mid-January 1995, and knowing she couldn't care for them all she started leaving 1 or 2 pups at a time at a back door to the plant I work at. Every pup she left was adopted by a co-worker. Stu and one other litter-mate were taken directly from the den while the mother was distracted.

Stu was a cute pup...

...but he had some awkward teen-age years...

Unfortunately, Stu left us recently. Stu loved to walk to this park...he had likely "marked" every tree at least a half dozen times. Stu was with me when I originally hid "Castaldo Cache", so I felt it appropriate to resurrect this cache in his memory.
Stu's ashes were scattered in the park today as we hid the cache...so the first finders might want to wipe their feet before getting back in their cars.

Rest in peace, buddy...we miss you.
