Flat country Lanes, 2 stage with a micro to start
This cache is a short detour from the Sirhowy Valley Walk. It replaces an earlier cache which was archived.
The Old Mill is situated at N51 38.705 W003 11.368. The cache itself is a short walk from the Mill. The cache is a two stage multicache. The first stage is a canister micro cache which contains the co-ordinates for the main cache which itself is a small plastic box.
The Old Mill, Gelligroes was built in the 17th Century The mill now has a radio museum and a candle-making workshop which has a Royal Warrant to make candles for Prince Charles. The Mill is also home to the Arthur Moore Amateur Radio Society. Visitors to the Mill can learn about Arthur Moore who received the SOS transmission from the Titanic and have a go at transmitting around the world.
Initial cache contents include, a Geocoin, key ring, fuzzy felt animals, marbles, office kit, toy cars and the log book.
