Geocache Description:

The cache is in the new Santa Rosa City park named for the first Japanese to live in Santa Rosa, Kanaye Nagasawa. He came to Santa Rosa to take part in the "new" community of Thomas Lake Harris. He became a wine maker of note, eventually inherited the property from Harris, and built the red Round Barn.

The cache can be reached by path/trail (if you can find it) except for the last 75 ft or so.
****When you reach GZ, look for the cache about 35 ft. to the NW.****** PLEASE HIDE CACHE COMPLETELY.

There is low poison oak in the area, so long pants are advisable. Rattlesnakes have been found on the adjacent golf course, so you should assume they also reside in the park. During wet weather access to cache may be more difficult.

Note: The container should be watertight. Please be certain that both parts of the lid are securely in place.
