Geocache Description:


A rest stop cache located on I-75 in Wesley Chapel, Florida between exits 275 and 279 northbound. The cache is a medium sized rubbermaid container with more than enough room for trades and travel bugs. BYOP.

We have always wanted to own a rest stop cache, primarily to read the logs of travelers from far and wide. We noticed that the prior cache in this rest stop had been archived and since we live very nearby, we elected to place a cache here.

Local cachers, who know our hiding style, will find this to be in a very M&Mesque location. While most of the time this area should be dry, during very rainy periods the ground may be, shall we say, moist.

Though we elected, for various reasons, not to make this a Travel Bug hotel, as with all rest stop caches it should make a good place for swapping bugs.

Cache is located in a wooded section behind the picnic area. You should be able to park reasonably close by. The picnic area is open from Dawn to Dusk so no night caching on this one.

Dense tree cover may affect your final GPS readings so of course you may have to use your geocaching intuition to find the actual cache. Please rehide the cache securely and conceal it well so it cannot be seen. Have fun!

After you locate the cache please make sure to seal the container properly by pressing down on all sides until they snap in place - otherwise the cache may not stay dry.
