Uppsala Domkyrka

Planlagd redan 1258.

Templum Cathedrale Upsaliense

Uppsala Cathedral

Construction began in 1287, but it was not inaugurated until 1435. It is 118,7 m high and exactly as long. Each year 500.000 people visit the cathedral. Final resting place for Gustav Vasa and Carolus Linnaeus. So much can be told about the largest church building in northern Europe that a text at cannot possibly do it justice.
