Welcome back to Burkburnett, Texas!
This park & grab is located near the Fowler Discovery Well site that put this North Texas town on the map in 1918. The first 'gusher' well, it yielded 2,500 barrels a day and triggered a four year boom-period for Burk Burnett's town. See the historical marker near this cache for more details.
