Just follow the creek, it always knows.
Years ago I walked along this trail one sunny afternoon. I came to a bridge over the creek and thought what a lovely place. Now about 22 years later, the bridge is no longer there, just the remains of it. This area is not well travelled so if you want a short hike away from it all, this could be it. Some parts of the trail have some overgrowth on it but it is still a fairly easy walk even for a child.
I hid this one on my birthday; enjoy the quiet walk along the creek.
Two hour parking is available along Cootes Drive by the Spencer Creek bridge. Other caches in the area to make your day enjoyable.
As many people are aware, there was a fire in Dundas which may or may not have resulted in pesticides ending up in Spencer Creek. Until this is cleared up, I would not go into the creek nor would I do any fishing in the creek. The walk is still a pleasant one though (no bad odours)
