Ammo can at 10,243 feet. This mountain actually has five 'peaks'. Cache is resting on top of the Southernmost one.
Hiked from the top of Mt. Rose Hwy up to the summit of Mt. Rose, over to Church Peak, dropped off North and followed the ridge across to Sunflower Mountain and then down the Thomas Creek Trail back to civilazation. This is the third cache placed along the route between here and Church Peak.
Look for the Peak Register ammo can 90 feet North of my cache. HUGE 360 degree views. You'll be looking right down on I-80. CACHE ON!!! ABE
