Located in the Crowsnest Pass, AB a short distance off of the Atlas Road northwest of Coleman.
We were going to place this cache at Window Mt. Lake but ended up getting off on a side trail and didn't have the energy to go back up after learning where the correct trail was. We placed this cache at the trailhead to the lake. We ended going up later in the week and the view and quietness was well worth the second hike up.
You have two choices of how to get to the cache, the first is drive within about 50 meters but you'd better have a 4x4 or a high clearance vehicle or you can park about a kilometer away and hike in. The trail is up hill all the way and over some rocky areas. We drove our quads close to the cache and others had taken 4x4 trucks to the same spot.
The cache is hidden in a spot where logging went on years ago and has the usual trinkets, plus logbook and pen.
For those who want to continue up to Window Mt. Lake which is about a 30 minute hike. There is fishing and camping allowed at the lake. Remember to bring a camera.
