This walk was created by the Rotary club of Oberon with the support of Oberon Council, Oberon High School & the Periodic Detention Centre Bathurst.
This is a nice bush walk on the edge of town, you don't know that it is here as it starts in a residential street.
You park the car & enter through the gate & take in the beautiful bush surrounds.
There are park benches near the start to have a break & well formed walking trails along a willow lined creek, over a quaint walking bridge & through eucalypt trees & native bush. You can walk the whole trail in several hours & catch glimpses of native bird life.
The walk down to the cache is a bit steep so wear your walking shoes.
