Clocaenog Views Traditional Cache
The_Westies: Archiving this one as the container is usually there but there seems to be an issue with newer players being able to find. Will collect the container next time we're over there.

This is 1 of a group of 4 caches in differing areas of the Clocaenog forest showing different aspects of the area.
This cache is placed by one of the many picnic areas dotted around the area. From here you can see much of the Clywdian range, the Llantysilio mountains and the Berwyns. We used 2 gps here setting this one and couldn't get the 2 to agree. I would appreciate feedback on the accuracy of the co-ords for this one. The variety of conservation projects run by the Forestry Commission in the area has resulted in probably the largest group of red squirrels in Wales as well as otters, black grouse, nightjars, the dormouse and badgers. The area is home to some otter with the FC working to restore suitable habitats for them by clearing river banks of dense overgrown vegetation. By seeking this or any other cache placed by myself or maintained by me you accept responsibility for your own safety. Caching can be dangerous. Assess the risk for yourself before seeking this cache! This is a working forest and as such there may be an occassional need to temporarily disable the caches whilst the Forestry Commission undertake their work. Please check back to this page prior to visiting the cache to check it's still active and always avoid areas where signs advise that there is work at that location. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU SIGN THE LOGBOOK WHEN YOU FIND THIS CACHE. WE WILL DELETE ANY LOGS WHERE THIS REQUIREMENT HAS NOT BEEN MET AS IT IS THE PROOF THAT YOU HAVE FOUND IT.
