I placed this cache to mark almost 12 months since I scrambled to the top of this “Summit to Do”. A special thanks to IF and Onward Bound for that experience.
This little hill climb has to be the best bang for buck in time spent caching treks that I have undertaken and should be achievable for most people with reasonable + fitness levels PROVIDING you have an experienced bush walker with you. However, this is a wilderness area, tracks are not graded and may become indistinct. Take well equiped pack including Maroon topographic map, compass, first aid, food, water and wet weather gear. Fill in trip sheet and leave with reliable friend or relative before setting out. You will be climbing a mountain of over 900m. This cache was placed during my second climb which introduced a few other cachers to the experience including a few special milestones. On the day Urdera, Just a Trifle, cooroy scouts and d.d.dudes visited the Summit while I set off to hide this cache. Sorry guys but you’ll just have to come back again sometime. Cache - 1 L container
