Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at Smith Brook Falls in Cumberland County.

From Truro, Take highway 4 towards Wentworth. Park when you get to a bridge and your GPS is pointing almost directly to the left. Walk along the brook bank until you meet up with a trail on the right side, follow it the rest of the way to the falls.

This waterfall is similar in more ways than one to nearby Wentworth Falls. The brook was diverted to make way for the railway tracks, which means the waterfall is manmade, a tunnel was blasted through the ground for the brook to go under the railway tracks, same as Wentworth Falls. It is possible to explore the tunnel, but only if you're okay with wet feet. Good luck!
