The cache is a small green canister, located next to Stretton Mill in Cheshire.
Best parking is across the road from the cache but is locked at 5pm and not open in Winter, although the cache is accessible 24/7. From the car park just cross the road to find the cache, the road is fairly quiet but do be very careful due to many muggles. There is no need to climb anything and please don't damage anything because the Cheshire County Council have kindly let us place the cache.
Stretton Watermill offers something for every visitor. The site consists of the working mill, an old 19th century stable which houses an exhibition and pleasant grounds with a picnic area. Tour can be done around the mill which is very interesting. The mill is now only used for demonstration but is in full working order. 1086 is the date of the mill and some original timber work is exposed on the front of the building. I suggest you have a look around and it is only open to the public between April and September. A small admission fee of £2 for adults and 75p for children gives you a great idea of the watermill in working order and what goes on in the process.
The cache is wheelchair accessible and recommended for children. Do be careful with children and pets because of the road and the flowing water. In the cache is a Geocaching notice, Log Book and Pencil. Please do bring your own writing equipment and something to help get the log out with.
