BPAS Puzzled Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

jashounds: Sadly, the majority of the caching community and new cachers are not looking for adventure so caches like this sit here unfound.

With all due respect to the older Cachers I find it better to achieve this cache so that numerous numbers caches can take its place.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Black Pond Adventure Series (BPAS) Puzzled. The BPAS is a group of caches designed to test your skills as an adventurer. You might be tested in the water, over rocks and cliffs, in caves, up trees, solving puzzles, rappelling, diving….you get the picture.

Puzzled is the last of the original SkyTrek hides that I’ve resurrected, and the one that I changed the most. While this is not a true puzzle cache, it is a puzzle cache…..you’ll see what I mean. Find a nice vista (there is one nearby) to sit and perform your task. You’ll be glad you did. Go to the posted co-ords and you will obtain some information to continue your journey. Retrieval of said information may be made easier by one or more of the tools from the list below. One part of this cache isn't very snow friendly, but it isn't the first stage...

Tools that could be very useful:

Water
Flashlight
Walking Stick
Topo Map
Paper and Pencil
Binoculars
Pliers
Rope
An old Mickey Spillane Novel

The original Black Pond series was brought to us by SkyTrek, a man known by charter members for his clever, devious, mind numbing hides and lack of qualified hints. Anyone who tried to make a FTF on a SkyTrek cache was in for a real challenge. SkyTrek was truly a pathfinder for unique puzzle caches and memorable hides. His hides will always be a topic of conversation at geocaching gatherings. He has since retired from caching but is still an active outdoorsman, volunteering for the CFPA.

Thanks for a part of this cache go out to Wing-it for his carpentry skills. His product is excellent and if you appreciate what he did, drop him a note..
