Great location, tranquil circular walk with a sad history - Dolgarrog Dam Disaster in 1925.
Start at Memorial Walk, follow windy path up, past notice boards (do take a moment to read them) and benches. You will lose signal at this point, don't panic. The gorge will be on your righthand side, carry on straight up, do take care with children and animals and watch your footing, steep drop down into the gorge. Follow the Gorge path (signed), until you come to a kissing 
gate. Approximately 70m after the kissing gate (where the fence line runs out) follow the path up to your left, marked by a green arrow, quite a steep bit and you will end up on a plateau. You might get a signal on the plateau, if you're lucky!! Follow the narrow path taking care as it is pretty well undefined in places due to lack of traffic and a bit slippy in wet weather. You will go past large boulders on your left and right and a fairly long walk until you see 2 large pipes (aprox 4-5'wide) on your lefthand side. Keep going till you come to the remnants of a stile with a better defined path on the other side (might have to climb over fence if stile not yet repaired but it is very low in places). The path goes down into a dry ditch then up the bank to the pipes over a new wooden set of steps. Old bridge over pipes has been replaced with a metal one that my geo hound hates going over, now you're at the GZ. You will get a signal here as they have cleared some of the tree cover, try turning the GPS off then back on again, be patient you have got this far. Enclosed a few photos to guide you along the way. If that fails, read clue. To return to car, follow public footpath at the side of the large pipe down. NOT advisable to go down between the pipes. Cross the narrow road and follow footpath again down to main road. Look left up the hill and you should see your car/starting point. There is a much easier route for those with a decent map and the skill to use it but not so nice, by following the pipes. Why not pop up to Scottpa100's near by cache, You Oughta See The Water - Dolgarrog Dam Disaster - GC109ZV. But do read instuctions on access to get to the cache!! Another cache nearby is 'And You're Climbing the Stairway to Hidden GC172M'. If you dare.
