City/County Park Traditional Cache

Cache is located in City/County Park in Bureau County, IL.
Cache is located in City/County Park in Bureau County, IL on Route 26 approximately 1 mile north of I-80. Take Illinois exit #56 on I-80 and turn right.
The park is open from 7:30 am to 9 p.m. There are picnic tables, and a playground. There are 2 shelters which are available as long as no one has reserved them. Restrooms are available.
This is a great family park. The City of Princeton is located just south of I-80. Besides the usual fast food restaurants, Princeton is known for antiques. Continue south on Route 26 and an antique mall is located on the left. Further south, there are antique and craft shops. Even further south are more unique shops.
One weekend in October there is a Civil War reenactment during which you will not be able to get to the cache.
The park is closed for the winter, Nov. - March.
The cache is a plastic container with a log book and a number of classic cache items (pen, flashlite, car, key ring, etc.). You are encouraged to swap items and log your visit. Send us picture, too.
