Case Karsten Drive Multi-Cache
-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This 3 stage multi-cache (3rd being final) is located along a bike trail that goes from State St. to Fairview Ave. and winds thru the industrial park. It is approximately 1 mile in length. This is a DIFFICULT multi so it may take any where from 30 minutes to an hour or two depending on your "geosense".
Stages I & II could be considered micro. Stage III final is a medium sized lock 'n' lock.

I placed this cache in memory of my neighbor Cornelius "Case" Karsten. The road next to the first stage is named in his honor.

"Case was born and raised in Zeeland and became one of the city's best promoters. Over the years he poured his enthusiasm and civic pride into projects for the Zeeland Chamber of Commerce, Zeeland Community Hospital, Zeeland Lions Club, Zeeland Historical Museum, Zeeland Community Chest (United Way), Zeeland Civic Chorus, Zeeland Christian Schools, American Red Cross, and many more. He had a very strong sense of community and Zeeland was truly his city." He passed away June 24, 2007 at age 93.
