Annelundsparken skapades från början av
färgerifabrikör Ambrotius Butsch omkring år 1827
och ägdes efter det av flera prominenta boråsare tills
den fick sitt nuvarande namn från Pehr Pettersons tid,
då Annelund också var ett av de största
landerierna i trakten. I slutet på 40-talet fanns vilda
planer på att bygga om parken helt och hållet och ge
plats åt skolor, bostäder och en teater.Idéerna
förverkligades dock aldrig och 1960 beslutades att
Annelundsparken skulle förbli parkområde.I naturdelen
är tall och bok dominerande trädslag och bland
planteringarna märks särskilt azalea och rhododendron.I
parken finns också en mängd fruktträd och
bärbuskar.Fina små stigar och en jättefin lekplats
ryms också inom parkens gränser. Cachen är en micro
med logremsa och penna.
Annelundsparken was originally created by factory-owner
Ambrotius Butsch around the year of 1827. After that it was owned
by several prominent people and was given its name by Pehr
Petterson, the owner at that time. Annelundsparken was then a very
posh summer residence, one of the largest in the region. After the
war there were ideas of making the park a new residental area with
a school and a theatre. Those ideas were never fulfilled and 1960
the government decided to keep the park intact. In the wildlife
part of the park you find pines and beeches and the park is also
famous for its azalea plantations. Fruit trees and berry-bushes are
common and you can play at a very good play-ground or take a walk
along the small paths. The cache is a micro with a logstrip and a
pencil.
