Geocache Description:

South-East of Monroe at Youngs Creek Falls. Looking for small Lock-N-Lock.

This is my 3rd cache in a series of "Lesser-known waterfalls". Go about 7 miles out the Ben Howard Road then another 2 and 1/2 on Cedar Ponds Road. There's a bridge crossing Youngs Creek mere yards upriver from the falls. After you find the cache CAREFULLY go over and look down the falls. The trail to the falls is just before bridge off to the left of road behind some big rocks. We were there when the water volume was at mid-level, revealing the grooves that have been worn in the rock bed. I love the grooviness! This groovy feature can be seen upriver a half a mile at Marckworth falls also. (Look for the nearby Catheversary cache.) If you take the young caches with you watch them because the rocks do drop off at the falls.
