Geocache Description:

Medium sized lock n'lock with black cammo.

Located at the main community corner for Heather Brae. Usually no one about, but be aware that family reunions & community events sometimes are held here over the summer.

Heather Brae was one of the first farming settlements in central Alberta with the first families arriving in the 1890's. James Stuart McDonald named the area, because it reminded him of where he came from in Scotland. The school was erected on this site on January 30, 1895. The present Hall is the old school that was once located in nearby Kelsey with some additions. It was moved here in 1957.
