Geocache Description:

An adaptation of the classic Grimms Fairy Tale with a geotwist.

Hansel and Gretel were clever children and knew how to use natural satelites for relative navigation. So, as Hansel and Gretel were led to a point beyond their forest familiarity, Hansel began placing the white pebbles as they ventured deeper into the forest. For each white pebble that Hansel dropped, Gretel would find and pick up a pink pebble and stash it in her pinafore just to make sure that they didn't run short of pebbles.

After a while, Hansel had used all of his white pebbles. Gretel continued with the pink pebbles that she had collected.

The ending of this fairy tale, if you recall, was a happy one.

Their home has long since vanished as well as the little pebbles. The cache that once held the precious stones and pearls taken from the wicked witch may still exist where their home once stood.

It is probably a medium size plastic container with a twist-on lid and most likely has only small toys, trinketry, maybe some travel bugs, and a log book. Chances are that the precious items have already been taken.

Recent discoveries of various artifacts found in the forest have been authenticated as belonging to Hansel and Gretel. These artifacts include some numbers that may help to pinpoint the exact location of the cache.

Several locations can be determined but only one might be correct.
