Geocache Description:

In the early 1900's this area was considered for the town of Bena. It was decided to put the town at its present location because of the nearness to the railroad. this boat launch area offers a beautiful southern view of Lake Winnie. There is no need to bushwack but be careful on the rocks in wet conditions.

Cache is a rubbermaid container with a FTF $1 and small trade items. Rehide as good or better than you found it.
