This is a small key holder with log only, so BYOP. There is no parking other than along the roadside, so please be careful.
We drive by this spot frequently and always thought it would be a great place for a cache. This is our first 'micro' and hopefully a fun one.
The vehicle traffic on the road to this location has increased dramatically over the past year. But the structure at the cache site is unlikely to see much traffic. There aren't many pedestrians out here and cachers are the only ones who are likely to take this walk for quite a while to come.
Actually...cachers are the only 'humans' who may be walking near the cache site. As we were placing the cache, we noticed this was a popular hang-out for some large eight-legged freaks. Golden Orb or "Banana" Spiders found this location to be a terrific place to stay out of the sun and rain, catch some prey and create an intimidating presence for those who don't particularly like arachnids.
Fortunately, the "freaks" will only be around in the summer months and there weren't any in the immediate area of the cache when we placed it.
