This geocache will bring you to a relatively unknown local park with an awesome view of the valley below. This is not a quick grab, but rather if you follow the paths, you will not only enjoy the view, but also the calls of nature as many birds frequent this park in their respective seasons. While the Red-winged Blackbird is very popular here, other sightings include the American Goldfinch, Black-headed Grosbeak, Pine Siskin, Spotted Towhee as well as many other native birds.
Early morning is a good time to be here. Can be done in a half hour, terrain based on good path going uphill. At the cache site, enjoy the bird’s-eye view from the perch! Enjoy!
